Most rewarding part of what you do? Working in family law and helping my clients navigate important conversations around prenups, custody, and divorce, I noticed what an impact my work has on their mental health. So many of my clients come from diverse backgrounds, some of them first-generation Americans, and each with a unique cultural viewpoint. Giving clients the chance to express themselves and treating them with respect and consideration makes all the difference. Listening to my clients is very important to me.

How do you inspire others? Hard work and giving back to the community are the most important things I can do as a professional and there’s no one that I want to inspire more than my own daughter. She’s my motivation to do more.

Best piece of advice for anyone starting out? Build your network. My husband and I built our firm based on the desire to support clients holistically. We have connections in other countries and can guide our clients in legal decisions on a global scale. I fully appreciate that my counsel is empowering my clients to find the best resources.

Traits you think great leaders possess? Humility. I believe the best leaders and the most successful professionals are those who put the work above their personal gain. They understand that working for others should never be a selfish pursuit.
