Hinsdale Living’s Power Women is one of JWC Media’s annual special features, highlighting women who are building businesses, leading organizations, taking risks, solving problems, and creating opportunities in their professions and communities.
In her feature, “Powerful Advocacy,” Aggie discusses the principles that guide both her legal practice and her life. She shares a standard she believes strongly in: “Do what you say you are going to do.” For clients going through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, she emphasizes the importance of being prepared, responsive, and dependable.
She also speaks about how much Hinsdale and its people inspire her, motivating her to work hard, build a strong family, stay connected, and give back to the community.
And on the never-ending question of work-life balance, Aggie offers a perspective many working professionals and parents can relate to: life does not have to be perfectly balanced every single day. Careers, families, and personal priorities each have their seasons. Her advice, particularly to younger women building careers and families, is to focus less on achieving “perfect balance” and more on building a full life and giving your attention to what matters most in the season you are in.
